It's a brand new day!

Well, Amazon didn't list any info about my new ebook so spent all morning updating the Author Page, it will take 4 or 5 days before it shows up on the books site. I must be an old fart, I had NO idea there was a modern meaning to the title Cougar Woman, well what dweeb thought that up. Rest assured my book has nothing at al to do with anything modern. I sure change directions a lot, don't I? I'm busy working on an Authors page on FB. Ya know I always avoided promoting my worrk and well figured its about time I get off my rear end and do some work. I'm having fun, what with FB outages etc. I'm ready for Christmas, not the same without the kids and grandkids close..may have to change that next year!

I'm designing a new authors page for me and all my books and my videos too. I hope I can figure out how to promote it and this blog too. Someone told me it's quite alright to promote ourselves even though the concept, to me is well hard. So bare with m as I learn the ropes. I think it's my time to go ahead and promote.
If not..well, it will be fun anyway!

What an adventure I had

Took the cameras to the Itchetucknee river, a bunch of props and we made movie clips all day. We had quite a few story ideas to go along with us and of course I can see getting them into story form too. It helps to have some visuals for me when I'm thinking up stuff. That or music. In this case I'll have both. Photos, music movies laughter. When you get in a slump writing or finishing a story, try it. It's amazing what happens.
Now, enjoy this Saturday morning. It's the only Today you get. Make the most of it and make someone smile along the way :)

I'm still writing, still driving people crazy with my words. That's my job, who else is gonna make people laugh with all the political crap going on.
Have any of you considered ebooks? I know I've mentioned it already but seriously. On the writers website, which will remain..well anyway, so many are bound and determined to wait for an agent. In the meantime, they send their words off to ezines etc for free. Wait a min. I can post a story for free to..as an ebook. Why not get your name out there in the world, the chances of an agent reading you are even better that way. It's a huge slush pile now matter where you submit. Me? I'm gonna keep slugging along..collect my monthly royalty checks ( which gets me a pizza and a beer) LOL.
Think about what you really want..go after it, before time passes you by.
Now, get out there and have fun. Write if you feel like it, go play if that's what makes your heart smile.
Life my friends is gonna be exactly what you want it to be.

Tuesday, wow.It rocks!

So, I'm heading over to the Springs one day this week, movie camera in hand. Got a great idea about a story, so..I'm going to make a youtube video about it. Lots of mini clips so I can piece them together. After the video is made I'll use it to fleah out my story. So my synopsis will be in video form. I think it just might work! What kind of story? Well, sci fi, spooky ghost story perhaps. Depends on what footage I get. If I can find a diver there, might just talk him into getting me some clips from the blue hole..add some spooky artifacts!
When you have an idea for a story, use whatever it takes to make the story alive inside you. It'll come down on paper so much better. Well, so much for trying to explain..I do believe I'm a lost cause. Have a fantastic day world!

It's Monday!

Should be a busy week. I have to get the ebooks ready for B&N, make covers etc. I'll have to learn how to do that. Should be interesting. I'm trying not to get into another story before I finish this task..but already my mind is racing. I hope you have a grand day and week ahead, more later about stories.. :)

writing ideas

People always wonder, where do I come up with this stuff. Here's a fun story how it works, sometimes. The other day on Facebook a friend posted about Nutmeg, how if taken in the vein..you die. Now who thought up trying that? So we began posting silly things..you know, hey thanks, now I can have fun killing off who ever, hey we could write a story! So one by one everyone started posting ideas they liked. I said, lets do it at camp! I go to rendezvous and a perfect setting. So before the day was over I wrote it..posted it on facebook...oh it was such fun. See, an idea can come from anywhere. Even a silly post on FB. So next time you are anywhere, listen to what folks are saying...An idea may just pop into your head. What if? What happens then? Solve the conflict..That is how a short story or book is born. If, Then Else.. Have fun, play!

Hey, It's cartoon day!

I sure do miss the old ones, today's cartoons..well they don't make me giggle. Now, I'm working on another short story in the 76th st. pedal patrol series. They'll all be part of an ebook soon. These are really grown up stories told by me, the Mom ..But the kids are the heroes. Imagine if the Mom from Goonies was telling the story. Oh, its funny!

Well, this is what happens when 3 ladies all named Johnson, get a what if scenario going on Facebook. Oh my goodness, it was fun to write!
Now it's a short story and an ebook! Rendezvous with murder!
Oh the cast of characters..well, you may know them if, you happen to go to rendezvous and if not...well this is your chance to meet them!.
Oh, where have I been? Busy writing and making videos and just enjoying life, know what else..I couldn't remember my password. Got it! It's now scribbled on the wall. right there! Yep where I can see it!

Here I am..was lost

but now I'm found.. Ever loose a password? How bout 2 or 3..I did. It must be the weather, that's all I figure. Well, my Youtube video is really surprising me..over a half a million folks have looked at it. It is causing arguments among readers.. Hmmmm, did they not read it was a fiction book? I guess not. Everyone is loving Blackhawks music, I think they like it more than the video, from the comments. Maybe it'll help him sell CD's. I hope so.
Well. Time for me to run amok, now that I've written the PW down. I'll post more often. Unless I really have CRS, in that case. Cya guys.

I've been way busy

Trying to make some new You tubes and find out that my Movie maker program has been changed..so much for auto updates. I just hate the new one, they Microsoft got rid of all the things I loved. Now to learn a whole new program.. Free is hard to find. I do own one that came with my sony but it's kinda hard for this ole lady to figure out. Oh well :)
All my kitties are fine as can be, the Bengal has a flea allergy..oh fun!

Alright! It's 2010..is it the year?

Well according to the movie, it's the year we make contact...Contact? With who? If you are waiting for Aliens, wait no more!

Okay, so maybe you don't get it..that's alright too. You see, I AM an alien being. Hard to believe isn't it..Thats what I thought too when I found out. I was at a few shops tring to get The Alien handbook placed when I found out.

You see, they told me my book OFFENDS true believers.

I wrote down all the information every earthling needs for their abduction, gave you facts about missing people, planes and they tell me I offend folks!

Well, just wait, I have contacted the intergalactic counsel..That'll teach em!

Okay, so never dwell on stuff I was told, so lets move on.

I'm trying to finish a few short stories and write some articles. Make some money for a change...

Alright already!

Lost passwords, broken computers..this is life! But I'm alive and well and I'm not in Wisconsin anymore. To make a long story short, I'm on another adventure. I must admit it's been a helluva year! I'm out in the woods in BF Florida. How'd I get here? You got me! My Youtube videos are doing quite well, finally learned how to get involved with Google and make pizza money LOL.
So, now that I'm back online. Be ready for some strange stuff.
I hope all of you have had a most grand time in 2009 and will check in when you get time.
I've missed just talking and goofing off and most of all writing.
Life is grand...my adventure continues......

My goodness how time flies!

Between house hunting and story writing been busy as can be. My newest story is about Worm holes..Yep you heard me right. Worm holes.

My poor character who recently watched one too many science programs, combining that with a vivid imagination has discovered a worm hole in his backyard. What stated out as a simple day of fishing has turned into quite the adventure. Will he get the cat back? Needless to say, there was something other than mere earthworms waiting that rainy morning...
Is there really a temporal anomaly down that blackness. Not all blackholes are in space..Or are they. Well, I'll have to see what happens next.

What a great day it is!

Not sure how many knew about the readers poll at Preditors and Editors but I got a neat surprise..I was in the top 10, matter of fact #6. I didn't win anything but it was quite fun to see the results!

That helps me get off my patoot and get some aliens written. I checked..my poems are sucky, so it's back to cats and aliens and maybe a temporal annomalie or two.

Regrets? None.
Lived, loved, won, lost.
Son's, grandchildren, life well lived.
Beautiful?
No.
Yet in spirit, maybe?
With new eyes awakening. A gentle hand beckons for me to come in.
Heavenly party about to begin.
As a butterfly glides by, may those who knew me...shed no tear,
